Congratulations, Dr. Rustin M. Lewis!
We’re proud to share that our Executive Director, Dr. Rustin M. Lewis, has been appointed to the District of Columbia Community Schools Task Force.
Through the Task Force, Dr. Lewis will work alongside elected officials and education, government, nonprofit, and civic leaders to help shape citywide strategies that support student success.
He’ll bring practitioner expertise and community-based perspectives to the table, helping to:
✅ Advance integrated student supports
✅ Strengthen family engagement
✅ Build meaningful partnerships between schools and communities
His appointment ensures that on-the-ground experience helps inform policies that promote educational equity and student achievement across the District.
